Global AI large model token consumption declined for two consecutive weeks after ten weeks of growth. Chinese models saw a 23.77% weekly drop to 4.44 trillion tokens, while US model usage rose 20.62% to 4.91 trillion tokens, surpassing China for the first time in two months. The shift is linked to rising global computing costs, with major Chinese cloud providers and AI firms raising prices. Industry remains optimistic for long-term growth as AI applications expand.
