Please analyze the ethical dilemma faced by a mid-sized tech company between data privacy protection and commercial monetization, combining the consideration of overall well-being in utilitarianism with the respect for individual rights in deontology. Deeply dissect the long-term reputational risks and short-term interest conflicts of the current decision path, and propose a balanced action plan that takes into account legal compliance, user trust maintenance, and social responsibility, ensuring the plan is logically self-consistent in moral logic and practically operable.

Please conduct an ethical analysis for the following specific business scenario: A pharmaceutical company discovers that its best-selling drug has mild but predictable side effects with long-term use, increasing cardiovascular risk for patients, but stopping the medication would worsen conditions for some chronic patients. Please evaluate whether to proactively recall the drug or continue sales with enhanced warning labels, considering the principles of utilitarianism regarding maximum happiness and deontology regarding respect for patient autonomy, while assessing the comprehensive impact on shareholders, patients, and public health, and finally provide an action recommendation that balances all interests and complies with ethical norms.

Act as a senior corporate ethics consultant to conduct a deep moral analysis of the following specific business scenario: A pharmaceutical company discovers that its best-selling drug has mild but irreversible neurological side effects with long-term use, yet discontinuing the drug would cause severe deterioration for many chronic patients. Please evaluate whether the company should proactively recall the drug and disclose risks by combining utilitarian considerations of overall well-being with deontological respect for patient informed consent, while also considering the impact on shareholder interests, employee livelihoods, and public health. Finally, output an ethical decision report containing risk assessment, stakeholder analysis, and recommended action plans, ensuring the advice complies with legal baselines and embodies corporate social responsibility.

Please analyze the following specific ethical dilemma encountered in business operations: A pharmaceutical company discovers that its long-marketed common drug has mild but irreversible neurological side effects with long-term use, yet stopping the medication carries higher risks and no alternative therapy exists. The company faces a choice between proactively recalling and disclosing the information, which could lead to massive financial losses or even bankruptcy, or hiding the information, which violates patient safety principles. Please evaluate the moral weight of this situation from both utilitarian (maximizing overall well-being) and deontological (respecting patient informed consent and autonomy) perspectives, and provide a phased action recommendation that balances shareholder interests with patient safety, focusing on how to establish a trust mechanism in an environment of information asymmetry.

Please act as a senior corporate ethics consultant to conduct a moral deduction for the following specific business scenario: A pharmaceutical company developing a life-saving drug faces a dilemma between launching early to seize market share while accepting potential side effect risks. Please analyze the long-term impact of this decision on various stakeholders (patients, shareholders, employees, public) by combining the principle of greatest happiness from utilitarianism with the requirement for procedural justice from deontology. Output a comprehensive recommendation report including risk assessment, ethical justification, and alternative solutions, ensuring logical rigor and compliance with business ethics standards.

Act as a corporate ethics consultant to provide decision-making advice for the following specific business scenario: A pharmaceutical company discovers that its marketed drug causes severe side effects in a very small number of long-term users, but a recall would bankrupt the company and affect thousands of patients relying on it. Please evaluate the moral weight of three paths—recall, concealment, or limited disclosure—by combining utilitarian consequence analysis with deontological respect for human dignity, and provide a specific action framework that balances social responsibility and corporate survival, avoiding rigid instructional language and narrating the reasoning process naturally.
